How to find your Panama hat size
To find your hat size, take a soft measuring tape and wrap it around your head where the inner band of a hat would rest - just above the ears and across the mid-forehead. The tape should sit snugly, never tight; a good fit feels natural, not forced.
As Panama straw can gently tighten with time, if you fall between sizes, we recommend choosing the larger and if necessary using the supplied hat filler to achieve the perfect fit.
To decrease the size of the hat, start by using two pieces of hat filler and place them at the rear of the hat. Place the filler between the crown and inner band making sure the adhesive side faces the fabric inner band. If needed another two pieces can be added at the front.

Hat Sizes
Small: 55-56cm
Medium: 57-58cm
Large: 59-60cm
Extra large: 61-62cm
Extra extra large: 63-64cm
How to tell if your hat is the right size
Your hat should sit comfortably without feeling restrictive. To test the fit, slide your index finger between the inner band and your forehead.
If it fits comfortably, you’ve found the right size. If you're between sizes, we always suggest sizing up, as Panama hats can tighten slightly over time.
